About Burrito Bar and Shawarma

Burrito, The word "burrito" comes from the Spanish word for donkey, "burro." Translated it means "little donkey." Some say that burritos look like donkey ears or the packs they carry, thus adding to the meaning of the name. Traditionally, a burrito is a flour tortilla rolled with rice, beans, and meat inside.

Shawarma is a Levantine meat preparation, where thin cuts of lamb, chicken, turkey, beef, veal, or mixed meats are stacked in a cone-like shape on a vertical rotisserie. As it rotates and the outside cooks continuously, thin slices are shaved off. Shawarma is one of the world's most popular street foods, especially in the countries of the Levant and the Arabian Peninsula.
