My three and a half year old son was given a really cool Mecho kit car from Elephant Thoughts for a gift. He was so excited to put it together and is starting to really love building things. We were surprised that this kit was actually motorized, and impressed with how well it drove on both carpet and wood floors. It was easy to put together and even included batteries. Would definitely recommend this product.
