"It’s been 6 years since I wrote Mommy, am I pretty?, and what an incredible journey it’s been!
Since 2014 I’ve been invited to speak in over 100 Canadian and American classrooms where I’ve met thousands of children eager to hear and talk about a definition of beauty that includes and empowers everyone. Together we talk about the importance of developing ourselves from the inside-out, by being confident, kind, strong, inclusive and unique.
The question I’m asked most often by the children is "When are you going to write a book that includes boys?"
I’M VERY EXCITED TODAY TO ANNOUNCE the pre-release of Awesome Inside + Out!, my newest book, published with the assistance of distinguished Toronto pediatrician Dr. David Maresky who has co-illustrated along with my daughters Madison and Brooke.
